If That BIrd Won't Sing
It's been raining so much here, they canceled school today. Many of the roads are flooded. I've spent my day curled up in bed with a book, as the whoosh whoosh of tires on the wet road lull me into a trance of sorts. Thanks to Mercedes Yardley's 10 by then challenge on twitter, I've recently begun submitting my work again, after a lull of no submissions for a few months. With this sudden increase in submissions comes quick rejections. One acceptance, let's focus on that - an acceptance to Daily Love. I'm a romantic at heart, even though I tend to write dark, perhaps a bit too often. So, here's something good....well, good in my eyes, anyway. Today, a story I wrote this past Mother's Day has gone live at Metazen. Also, Christopher Allen, the Metazen editor, interviewed me.
